1. The training
The Eastwest Transpersonal Training School (“the School”, “we”, “us”) provides an educational training in transpersonal psychotherapy, counselling and Holotropic Breathwork®. The training is delivered online to one international cohort, with in-person residential intensives held in Europe, and is structured over approximately four years in three levels:
- Level 1 — Self-Development (about 1 year): Certificate of Attendance. May be taken on its own as a standalone year of self-development, with no obligation to continue.
- Level 2 — Counselling Skills (about 1.5 years): Certificate in Transpersonal Counselling Skills, awarded through a EUROTAS-accredited institute, with credits toward EUROTAS certification.
- Level 3 — Psychotherapy & Breathwork (about 1.5 years): Certificate as Transpersonal Psychotherapy & Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator, with an optional EUROTAS certification track.
The training is based on criteria recognised by the Global Transpersonal Network EUROTAS. The programme includes taught modules, experiential and self-development work, personal therapy, supervision and, at the appropriate levels, supervised practice. The certificate awarded is a “Facilitator” certificate; it is not in itself a licence or the professional title “psychotherapist” (see Section 4).
The School may make reasonable changes to teachers, module order, dates, venues, or the balance of online and in-person delivery, where necessary and without reducing the overall educational value of the training. Where a residential intensive cannot take place as planned, an alternative date, venue or format will be offered.
2. Fees, payment and enrolment terms
Fees are charged module by module; there is no obligation to pay for a whole year at once. Each module runs for approximately three months. The current fees are:

What fees cover. Tuition and access to the taught programme for the module(s) enrolled. Fees do not include travel, accommodation or meals for residential intensives, personal therapy or external supervision, examination or EUROTAS certification fees where charged by third parties, or any costs of professional registration in the student’s own country, unless expressly stated in writing.
Payment. Online payment is not yet available on the website; enrolment and payment are arranged directly with the office. Payment is due before the start of each module, to the account notified by the office: [payment method / bank details / instalment schedule].
Discounts and referrals. Cost should not be a barrier: where money is a genuine obstacle, please write to us and we can offer discounts on a case-by-case basis. The School also offers one free module for every new student a current student brings to the School, subject to confirmation by the office.
Late or non-payment. Access to a module may be suspended where fees for that module remain unpaid. [Any late-payment terms to be confirmed.]
Changes to fees. Fees for future modules may change; any change will be notified before the affected module and will not apply to a module already paid for.
3. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
Cooling-off period. Where required by applicable consumer-protection law, you may withdraw from this agreement within [14] days of signing without giving a reason and receive a refund of amounts paid for services not yet provided. [Adjust to the law of the registered seat.]
Withdrawal by the student. Because fees are charged module by module, you may choose not to continue to a further module. Fees for a module that has already begun are [refundable in the following proportions / non-refundable]: [state refund policy].
Cancellation by the School. If the School cancels a module or intensive and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, fees paid for the cancelled element will be refunded.
How to withdraw. Notice of withdrawal should be sent in writing to west-office@transpersonal-training.com (Western track) or east-office@transpersonal-training.com (Eastern track).
4. Legal notice — use of the professional title “psychotherapist”
The use of the terms “psychotherapy school,” “psychotherapy training,” and “transpersonal psychotherapy training” in connection with this programme describes the educational content and orientation of the training. These terms do not, by themselves, confer a professional title, licence, registration, accreditation, or legal authorisation to practise as a psychotherapist.
The legal status of psychotherapy and the professional title “psychotherapist” varies considerably between countries. In some jurisdictions, the title is legally protected and may be used only by individuals who meet specific statutory requirements. These requirements may include:
- a specified university degree or prior professional qualification;
- completion of a nationally recognised psychotherapy training programme;
- a prescribed number of clinical practice, supervision, and personal therapy hours;
- registration with a governmental, statutory, or professional body;
- professional examinations, licensing, or recognition procedures; and
- compliance with national healthcare, professional, insurance, and ethical regulations.
Admission to or completion of this programme does not guarantee that a student or graduate will be legally eligible to use the title “psychotherapist,” obtain professional registration, receive reimbursement from healthcare systems or insurers, or practise psychotherapy independently in any particular country.
Each student is responsible for verifying the legal and professional requirements applicable in:
- their country of residence;
- every country in which they intend to practise or offer services, including online services; and
- any country in which their clients may be located, where relevant.
Students should obtain current information directly from the competent governmental authority, statutory regulator, or recognised national professional organisation before enrolling in the programme and again before using a professional title or beginning clinical practice.

Students should be aware that information provided by professional organisations does not replace national legislation or advice from the relevant regulatory authority. Legal and professional requirements may also change over time.
The programme and its organisers make no representation or guarantee that this training, whether completed in whole or in part, will satisfy the legal, academic, licensing, registration, or professional-recognition requirements of any particular jurisdiction.
5. Code of ethics, conduct and confidentiality
The training involves deep experiential and self-development work, including group process, personal disclosure, and Holotropic Breathwork. To keep the learning environment safe for everyone, the student agrees, throughout the training, to:
- Confidentiality of others. Keep strictly confidential all personal information, disclosures and experiences shared by fellow students, teachers and clients in the course of the training, and not to record, repeat or publish them.
- Respect and non-discrimination. Treat all participants, teachers and staff with respect, and refrain from any form of harassment, discrimination or abusive behaviour.
- Boundaries and safety. Respect appropriate personal, sexual and professional boundaries, and follow the safety guidance given for experiential work and breathwork sessions.
- Personal responsibility. Take responsibility for their own physical and psychological wellbeing during experiential work, and inform a teacher or facilitator of any relevant health matter (see also the health declaration in Section 8).
- Supervised practice. When undertaking counselling or supervised clinical practice as part of the training, work only within the limits of their competence and their current level of training, under the supervision arranged or approved by the School, and within an ethical and confidentiality framework consistent with the standards of EUROTAS and, where applicable, the EAP.
- Honesty about status. Describe themselves to any client or the public honestly and accurately — for example as a student or trainee in supervised practice — and not use any professional title they are not legally entitled to use (see Section 4).
- No harmful practice. Not offer services, diagnoses or treatments that they are not qualified or authorised to provide, and refer clients on where appropriate.
Serious or repeated breach of this code may lead to suspension or termination of enrolment, following a fair review, without refund of fees for the module in progress.
6. Data protection (GDPR)
The School processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and applicable national law.

- Data processed: the identification and contact details you provide in this form, enrolment and payment records, records of attendance, assessment, supervision and certification, and any information you voluntarily share with us. Where you provide health information (Section 8), this is special-category data processed only for participant safety.
- Purposes and legal bases: performing this enrolment agreement and delivering the training (Art. 6(1)(b)); complying with legal, accounting and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)); our legitimate interest in administering and improving the training and keeping records of qualifications awarded (Art. 6(1)(f)); and, for health data and optional uses such as media (Section 7), your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) and Art. 9(2)(a)).
- Recipients: teachers, supervisors and administrative staff of the School on a need-to-know basis; EUROTAS and any accrediting or awarding body, in connection with certification; and service providers (for example email or payment providers) acting on our instructions. Your data is not sold.
- International transfers: where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, appropriate safeguards under the GDPR are applied.
- Retention: enrolment, assessment and certification records are kept for as long as necessary to administer the training and evidence the qualifications awarded, and to meet legal obligations; other data is deleted when no longer needed.
- Your rights: under Articles 15–22 GDPR you may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and data portability, and you may withdraw any consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). You may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email west-office@transpersonal-training.com (Western track) or east-office@transpersonal-training.com (Eastern track).

7. Photo, video and media release (optional)
During residential intensives and some online sessions, the School may take photographs or make recordings for teaching, archival and promotional purposes (for example the website, brochures and social media). This consent is optional and can be withdrawn at any time by writing to west-office@transpersonal-training.com (Western track) or east-office@transpersonal-training.com (Eastern track); withdrawal does not affect materials already published or printed.

8. Health declaration (participant safety)
Holotropic Breathwork and intensive experiential work involve strong physical and emotional processes and are not recommended in certain circumstances. To take part safely, please note that you should disclose to the School, in confidence, any significant physical or mental-health condition, pregnancy, cardiovascular condition, epilepsy, recent surgery, or current medication that may be relevant, and follow any guidance given. [The School to confirm its specific contraindications, any medical-clearance requirement, and any minimum age.]

9. Student acknowledgement and declaration
By signing below, I declare that the information I have given is true and complete, and that I have read and agree to this agreement, including the Legal Notice (Section 4) and the Code of Ethics and Confidentiality (Section 5). In particular:
I understand that participation in or completion of this transpersonal psychotherapy training programme does not automatically grant me the legal right to use the professional title “psychotherapist” or to practise psychotherapy independently.
I acknowledge that professional titles, licensing, registration, and eligibility requirements vary between countries. I accept responsibility for verifying the requirements applicable in my country of residence and in every jurisdiction in which I intend to practise, including where services are provided online.
I understand that the programme does not guarantee recognition, registration, licensing, employment eligibility, or reimbursement by healthcare systems or insurers in any particular country.
10. General
This agreement is governed by the law of [Poland / Estonia — to be confirmed], and the courts of [competent court] have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder continues in force. This agreement, together with any written enrolment confirmation from the office, is the entire agreement between the student and the School.
